I do comment when it's quite clear that offside calls were wrong. It doesn't really change anything about the game you played, but the FA will remain silent, when it is clear that the judge was wrong, and your players will like you better, as you make it quite clear that you do not blame them. If for example you concede a goal that was quite clearly off-side, the defender who could otherwise be blamed for conceding the goal by not properly marking the player who scored will usually feel ingratiated that you make it clear in public that the goal was the fault of the referee, not the player in question...
