Need help patching FM2008

Hey peeps,

Just threw FM2008 on my laptop.

Tried downloading a patch for 8.0.2 but once it updates, my FM2008 doesn't work afterwards.

I've clicked look for update but the webpage it goes to says the download is no longer there.

Any help?

Nop, the game isn't running.

I'll try and patch it again from the dl i have and get back to you.

I try and get it direct from the site but its not there anymore.

I get :

"This application hs failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found.

Re-installing the application may fix the problem"

That msg is when i try to use the editor, just tried the game and it works fine.

Haha yep, it is a common Windows Vista error when you try to open the editor.

i use vista on my desktop and have no problems what so ever.

Try downloading the missing dll and see if that helps.
