Sharpy07
Is it ok to move a save game from my PC to my Laptop which both have the 8.0.2 versions of Football Manager 08 on them, and does it matter that the database i used on my PC which is an updated one is not on my laptop. rinso
has to be same db and same patch. then itll work fine.
Bodis
You can move the save game across without problems, but the laptop can obviously not use the updated database if it doesnt have it installed. You'll still be able to play the game though.
Sharpy07
So i can continue with my saved game but not start a new game without the updated database on the laptop basically?
rinso
it depends on the database you used for the save. if the save used the edited db, then it will need it on the laptop as well, but you could copy both the save and the db over no problem
FelixX
Once a save game is loaded, it doesn't need the same database to continue playing it Or save games before patches wouldn't work The game will be fine
VonBlade
^ Yes it does. Because a patch that comes with a database is an alternative named one. So you get Database 800. Database 801. Etc etc. They don't overwrite.
