I'm currently in my second season with Arsenal and have bought the delightful Yaya Toure to partner up with his brother... As the transfer was done on the last day of the transfer window it was all pretty rushed... He didn't get a work permit, but I have Legia Warsaw as an affilliate so he joined anyways. I noticed that he is considering Belgian citizenship from his days as a Beveren boy. Is there anyway to get him to bloody stop considering and just take it?! I want to play the sod... No way you can force someone to take citizenship and I've never seen anyone take it after considering it. rinso Posted September 11, 2008 Share Posted September 11, 2008 nothing you can do to make him take Belgian nationality. iirc, they can only take on the nationality of the country theyre playing in, so he would have to go on loan to a Belgian club...
