Carl87
I've always been interested to see how football players, coaches, managers etc treat themselves in-game. If I was a professional footballer and I was playing and I tried to sign myself and it said 'not interested in joining' when in reality I'd be interested, I'd not be happy! Arkim
I'm sure quite a number of managers and players play or have played FM or CM at some point, but not many have said it in public.
ptr
I remember David James being addicted to champ man back when he was playing for Liverpool. In fact, I remember reading that he regularly used to stay up all night and it really affected him football-wise. I'll see if I can find a link somewhere. Simply Perfect
David James was addicted to Tomb Raider. Maybe CM too, but it was definitely Ms Croft causing his poor form.

TomHAVFC
I know a lot of the Villa players play FM as Curtis Davies did an interview not long ago and he said that when the team go on away matches they all take FM and play it in their rooms after training! HHUK
David James was addicted to Pro Evo too. I know that 90% of the Arsenal and Chelsea team play Fifa or Pro Evo in their spare time, alot of tournaments. I wonder if the Villa players have a giant network game. Would they feel bad selling their team mates?

Alot of teams play Pro and FIFA together, I've seen it alot on interviews/articles etc. I don't find it surprising and I wouldn't find it surprising to see alot play FM. Players are footie fans too, just like us.

tomtuck01
I love how this thread has turned into speculation about what David James was addicted to To be fair in the mid 90's when he was making error after error at Liverpool it was Tekken 2 he was "overindulging" in. shefki2008
David James' addictions: So far - CM - Tomb Raider - Pro Evo - Tekken 2 - Roberto Baggio's Free Kick Game I heard it was Duck Hunt on the old Nintendo. Apparantly he used to chase Neil Ruddock around hotel rooms pretending to shoot him.
