View Full Version : Difference between the World Wide Soccer Manager 2009 and Football Manager 2009

Dear SI:

Basically I wanted to pre-order your game, Football Manager 2009, but amazon.co.uk doesn't send it to my doorstep; only amazon.com does. However amazon offers World Wide Soccer Manager 2009, seems a little different. It is going to be different if I order that instead?

The only difference I know is World Wide Soccer Manager is usually for North America release, and Football Manager is for UK release. But are they other differences?

I had the Football Manager 2008 previously, bought at a local retail shop.

My location: Singapore

Don't think there's much difference apart from the name.

exactlythe only diference is the name, and that have their own patches that are the same for fm but they need those ones because of the name

What I meant by the above is that if WWSM comes out a little later then FM. What I would do is one of 2 things.
1. If you can download via the internet.
2. Go E-bay cause there will be plenty of people selling them I'm sure.

Hey thanks!

although all are UK sites, it gave me a simple idea; I didn't know there are local retailers in Singapore that settles pre-orders of Football Manager 2009... just pre-ordered it :D
