No, they don't have the Premier League license and probably never will (it's owned exclusively by EA until some ridiculous year, I think. And even when it expires, they'll just bid a ridiculously high amount to get it again).

And there won't be a German national team, but all that takes to fix is delete a file in the Sports Interactive folder, so hardly a challenge.

No need for it anyway, we would probably end up replacing the kits and badges with user made ones anyway

I remember liking EA a few years ago.......now I don't thanks to their exclusive rights in damn near every sport......cornering the market with their games (in this case, a game that isn't as great)

Thats how EA have their market. In football to my knowledge 90% of people prefer Pro EVo but play FIFA because they hav the licences. this is probably their way of slowly taking over FM aswell. However FM has a strong fanbase and i for one certainly would not play FIFA manager.

EA is a brand I really hate, btw...whats the reason there is no real German team in FM09?

I believe it somthing to do with a player wanting money for his name

So if the German thing is owned does that mean there are no real German players in the game? I'm confused about what SI can't use in the game that has got to do with Germany.

I think Pro Evo is the best game by far but I still get drawn to FIFA as well because it has so many teams (and Leeds United). I would never play FIFA manager over FM though.

If Pro Evo had the same licenses as FIFA NO-ONE would buy FIFA at all.

A Wikipedia search for Jens Mustermann (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jens_Mustermann) should reveal all ;) But hasn't he retired now?
