full screen?

does anyone know why this message comes up when i try to untick full screen. (changing the screen settings failed, make sure your system supports the settings) any help appreciated, thanks

Right click on your desktop shortcut and click on 'Properties'. Go to the 'Shortcut' tab and in the 'Target:' box copy and paste the following:

"C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed"

Then load up FM and go to Preferences > Display and Sound and untick 'Full Screen'

Reload FM and it will open up in windowed mode.

It has said that the name C:\Program is not valid and to make sure the path and file name are correct?

Is the target exactly what Aleh posted before?

What sort of system have you got? If it is a low spec gfx card or monitor it might not let you.

If you installed it somewhere other than the default location you need to change the target to that location and do as Aleh said.

Auto-hide your taskbar and then use the tick box and untick full screen. You don't need to edit the target then.
