Playin In finals

Why is it that although most finals are set on a neutral, it seems that the match is still being played as if the team that are scheduled to be playin as the 'home' team play as if they are at their own ground and possestion seems swayed to them and also you need to counter attack to win just like playing away.

I know its not just my tactics cause i watch many AI finals and the same thing happens.

I've noticed it too tbh, I think it needs to be worked on on FM09.

It's a well known issue. To get round it, just play your usual away game. Personally, I don't have the problem after a few years once I've built a talented, bonded team, but when I'm working up through play-offs etc it's a bigger problem.

I can't believe this is the case. That's ridiculous.

yep. i was 2-0 up in the uefa cup final with sevilla a few days ago after going a man down. i didn't deserve to be, and i lost in extra time as expected. if i had replayed the final (which i never intentionally do when i lose one), i probably woulda used my away tactical configuration and won comfortably. i noticed that i had to use a completely different tactic to my home or away one for wembley in my arsenal game too.

God I hope it's fixed in FM09 or I'm not buying it!
