football manager on ps3

i am currently at home wondering if there is ever going to be a football manager on the ps3 and i want to know how many people think the same thing because football manager is already on the xbox 360.

Probably someday, but I think Miles said that it was only for PC, MAC and PSP at the start.

Videogamer have an interview with Miles where he confirms that FM09 won't be appearing on consoles, but that they haven't ruled out console games in the future.

I prefer playing FM on my PC anyway as management sims on consoles such as Premier Manager and LMA Manager have put me off. However, FM Handheld works well because you can get an FM fix while away from your desk and now the addition of a 2D pitch is going to make that game an essential purchase.

Yeah that was one of the reasons i stopped playing 08 on the PSP because i was bored of the overview.

Considering my laptop is coming to the end of it's insurance policy I would love it too come out.

PS3 has a way better core processor than the 360 has and you can even run Linux windows on your PS3!!! I would love to have a straight posrt of the game and play in my room! not having to sit with my laptop just my control! Direct port please si!

Please can there be some sort of confirmation, whether or not SI will be making a PS3 Console version of maybe FM 10 for example.

I have played this title for many years on pc, from way back when the first Championship manager came out, i love this game and i for one would love too know if there is any progress being made for a release for console very soon.

I would like a PS3 version but am not bothered if we don't get one, it's fine on PC. Although the ME may be better on PS3

1. You know linux isn't a version of windows, right?

2. Why would you want to do that?

Personally I think Fm's fine on PC, I don't think it would work as well as it would on PC but who knows?

Uh... no. definetly not... as an owner of a PS3 and a FM addict, I wouldn't get FM on a non-portable system even if it costed 1€. This game needs mouse, windowed mode, and the like.

When it comes to a game like this, I don't think its possible to build it on a console as well as a PC, not to mention you can upgrade your PC internally, you can't upgrade your ps3. FM has the freedom really of being as large or small as you want or your pc can handle, I genuinely don't think a PS3 or 360 for that matter could handle the game at its largest.

Its already been out on the 360, and I don't think it was all that great because it really is a PC type game. It's just like age of empires doesn't go across to console as well either.

There is way too much clicking for this game to ever work well on a console, unless you use a mouse and keyboard with your PS3, and we call that a computer.
