A question for SI about 3D game view.

I was just browsing through the screenshots of the new 3D view and a question came to mind.

In none of the screenshots (in the TV mode 3D) were shown the players name under the player as we are used to seeing. I hope they will re-appear for the final version of the game. I understand that they don't show in "real life", but for the playing experience I think they are necessary. Otherwise it can be pretty frustrating if you don't see who is that player your looking for or at. The graphics of the players were still a bit rough as can be expected if only 50% ready, but I think it is a marvelous thing you guys have done.

And will the "empty" grass behind the borders of the pitch be removed or replaced with something else? Now it looks a bit funny...

I think the player names are shown in the bottom corners of the screen (unless we are looking at different screenshots). You never know this may change for the final version anyway.

Right you are. I missed the players names shown on the bottom of the screen. But it is still quite confusing because you can't really tell who the player is on the screen.

It would be a lot clearer if the names would be shown under the player.

And when players are rolled over...
