sky_mufc
In my first PC, my database is located in my documents which is in the D: drive, because i partitioned my drive. Im trying to move it to my second PC which only has one drive, in C:. I put my custom database in my documents but it's in C: drive. When i load my savegame, it says it couldn't find the db in the original source so it used a default one instead. Everything loaded fine, but when i saved the game, the file size went from 200mb down to 50mb! Does anyone know why, and will this affect my game? The player data seemed ok in the game, i created some players and they were loaded fine.
matty_boy08
Probably because you had compress save game option ticked. Try unticking saving then transfering to the other computer.
Nomis07
^^ WHS You probably had "compress saved games" switched off, to use FMM or something to complete your edit. Now that the edit is omplete you can switch it back on and porbably have done on the system. PS. If you're unsure it's found in the preferences section. sky_mufc
Ahh good call! I hastily installed FM on my second PC and did'nt bother to config it, compress option must be it. Anyways i was just testing something, and moved the savegame back to PC1, loaded, saved, and it went back to 200mb.
