Goofus Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 I've just came off a 3-1 win to Blackburn, but I'm absolutely furious. They injured 3 of my players(Adebayor, Bendtner, Ben Arfa), forcing me to make all of my subs by the 61st minute! Adebayor got injured first, so he was replaced by Bendtner. Luckily, Bendtner went on to score 2 goals for me, before he got injured. Anyone else got more horror stories against traditionally rough teams? jod123 Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 I don't think it was on FM08 but with Man United against Liverpool (not saying they are a rough team ) my season collapsed. It was coming to the end of the season and we were still in all competitions and were top of the league. Liverpool were nowhere. Anyway in that match they injured 3 of my key players for the rest of the season and none of their players got a red card at all. I was furious and we ended the season with just the Carling Cup.
