Premier League Offline Competition

This is a competition for 20 people for sign up.

Each will be given a random team from the english premiership, then the transfer window willl open and with your transfer budgets you will be able to buy players from all the other managers. I will then input this to a database and after that we will see who wins the premiership.

after that u will bid for foreign players off a list tht i will make. That list will include a few players in every position. It will be a sort of auction so highest bidder will get the player

I will be making this on a new dataabase with all transfers so all teams will be the updated ones.

Example = Robinho - man city

wages do not matter as i will be implementing the players to their new teams before i start the game

i will make updates on this thread of results as it will be sort of holidayed with the transfers being disabled for first season

Do we manage these teams ourseves or do we just buy the players and watch on it a kind of 'holiday' mode ?

Let me just get my head around the concept here.

I'm given a random team with whatever transfer budget they would have in real life.

I can then buy players from any other team in the league but whoever manages that team has to agree a fee and agree to sell them to me. Do wages need to be taken into account at all?

A foreign list is then opened up with players we can buy.

I have a few issues with this.

1 - The biggest issue is how is this being run? Do we all download the database and play the season ourselves? Or do you holiday through it and tell us the results. If we play it ourselves it mainly comes down to our tactics and the original feature, ie of doing the transfers between ourselves, becomes a lot less imortant.

2 - If you're given a team like Hull then you've got no chance compared to someone who gets Arsenal, particularly if the game is being holidayed.

3 - When the list of foreign players appears what happens if two or more people want to buy the same player?

2. You say u have no chance with hull but its only a game remember and with the right deals you could easily get a good team
