There are no details at all currently regarding specifications for 09, SI can't even say for sure whether it will be on DVD or CD, so you will have to wait a little while for whether 09 will work on your PC

As for 08, I personally have no idea, sorry, I'm sure someone else does, IIRC there is a thread about somewhere where this is mentioned, can't for the life of me remember where or what it was about though, try a quick search, see what comes up

I can't imagine a single reason why it wouldn't. This is not the most complex game out there, I mean I love it to death, but who are we kidding, the game is basically an over glorified spreadsheet calculator in a pretty box. And SI is by no means a tiny company, so they'd have no excuse to release a game incompatible with an almost 2 year old operating system that is slowly becoming the standard. I could have seen this being an issue with 2007, simply because it was unlikely they would have been able to test it pre release, but with 2009 I would say I'm 99.99% certain it will work fine.

Pretty much every game runs on Vista64, though only a few exceptions run in 64bit mode atm. I assume FM2009 will simply be running in 32bit like most games.

Main reason to choose for Vista64 at this time would be if you want 4GB ram or more, or if you want to keep that option open, as 32bit operating systems can't handle these amount properly and XP64 (from my experience) isn't as stable as Vista64 is.

As far as performance goes, on a modern mid/high range PC there is no noticable difference between running 32bit games on Vista32 or Vista64. I can't say much about older or low-end machines, as I have no experience with these in combination with Vista.
