Joy with African National Teams?

I'm Julian David-Faubert, Malagasy-Israeli Football Manager, currently in charge of Hapoel Bnei Lod Rakevet in Israel's second tier (The Israeli National League).

My long term objective is to take Madagascar to the World Cup Title so I'm in this game for the long haul.

How have other's fared with trying to take African National Teams to World Cup glory? Has anybody had success with a traditionally small footballing nation in Africa before? Do you really have to utilise Belgian feeder clubs?

As does anybody else create fictional characters for themselves such as I have (I'm not really Malagasy-Israeli)?

How do you use Belgian feeder clubs for a national team? :confused:

For my players to get EU status so they can play in EU Leagues with high reputation to aid their improvement?

I meant as an aid more than anything, maybe I didn't make that clear...

Yeah, but you can't do that yourself - it's just down to the whims of where your players go and what their clubs do with them, etc, etc.

I do apologise, I have been extremely vague, hopefully during my career I will end up at a top EU club and utilise this! I.E. Go to Manchester United and send a few over to Antwerp.

Three consecutive world cup appearances with Gabon, but that's about it. Shame their league isn't working properly, i also tried Benin, but their league suffers from this too.. a shame SI doesn't fix this issue.
