SI Staff Miles Jacobson Posted August 27, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted August 27, 2008 There are no plans at the moment. Doesn't mean never, but not in the near future.

Muamba
I don't think it's an hit on the 360 Much better on the PC in my opinion I'm getting a PS3 soon so hopefully they'll bring it out and make it has good has the PC version
captainmosh
I've played it on 360 and I don't think there's much point to FM on consoles, it's just not the kind of game you settle down in front of the TV to play, it just feels right on a PC. On a pc you can surf the net and stuff while you play but with a console it wont really be as easy to do stuff like that

Arkim
ps3 is not as powerful thats why i think PS3 is a very powerful machine, and I can safely say that's not the reason. I'm leaning more towards the fact that there wouldn't be much interest in the PS3 version and the costs to produce one and maintain one on the PS3 would far outweigh the revenue they make from it. sleepwalkingpolarbear
lol @ ps3 not being powerful. Cell processor. Learn up on your hardware.

Same here, I borrowed an Xbox recently because one of my mates was going on holiday and FM was in the bundle of games, but it just didn't feel right and I still ended up using the laptop. Dodge
I could not imagine playing football manager without sitting down at my desk clicking on things. Playing on a console would be an awful experience.
kevin_chn
The power of ps3 hardware is not the problem. Instead, I think a good part of ps3 users are fond of more arcade-like games.
rougess
i've wondered this too, but owning a ps3 and a laptop, i'd choose the laptop every time for fm. i like playing fm watching the tv etc, i wouldn't want fm to be the sole activity at any one time
