The articles for issue 4 were complete and proofed, but Chris who does the layouts had a lot of other things going on and no spare time. April and May were going to be combined, but I have heard nothing from Chris or Simon (the editor) since. I briefly considered whether I would take on more of the responsibility, but writing six or seven articles a month, plus proof reading all the articles submitted was more than enough, without taking on extra workload.

That is a quote from the March Issue thread.

As one of the writers I can add that there has been no email correspondance to me, or to the group of writers in general, since around May. It's a shame as I had some great articles planned, of course my own real life intervened but c'est la vie.

If the other writers are still around and want to get it back up and started again, I know I'm game.

I worked on designing and creating the artwork for these - I have been in conversation with some of the co-editors and we are trying to get a forth issue moving - I have worked on a new design and 30+ pages have been sent for approval.

Once we get this back we can add to it and look at a release.

In the meantime:

Issue One - http://downloads.sega-europe.com/fm08/bootroom/The_Bootroom_-_Issue_One.pdf

Issue Two - http://downloads.sega-europe.com/fm08/bootroom/The_Bootroom_Issue_2.pdf

Issue Three - http://rapidshare.com/files/97961971/The_Bootroom_-_Issue_Three.pdf

Issue One is 20mb, but the following issues make 10mb each.

As the Bootroom, we have nothing to do with SI directly - we asked if we could take on the name after SI's own fanzine died a death.

Unfortunately, due to many things (life, work etc), we have struggled to get the forth issue together until now. The new design looks cleaner and smarter but keeps the writing styles and depth.
