"unable to open full-screen mode"

anybody else had that error message?? getting it all the damn time now, and its getting kind of annoying. only get it when i start up FM. it then quits the game, even though the splash screens are loading and its in full-screen mode. once its quit the game, i can click on it again, and it loads it up no problem. so its slightly baffling as to what was wrong with it the first time?? i dont run it in window mode, never have done, and its not a shortcut to the .exe file either, i pinned the .exe to me start menu.. :confused:
