PaulHartman71 Posted August 24, 2008 Share Posted August 24, 2008 The X Factor – FM Edition, Series 1 Following the success of his singing reality TV program, Simon Cowell has decided to make an X Factor, for football players. With the winner of the competition winning a £50K PW contract at an English Premier Division club. To do this Cowell needed help from people involved in football, as he couldn’t possibly be a judge himself. 3 Judges were appointed: Jose Mourinho, recently unemployed after being sacked by Chelsea, the Portuguese Manager has a wide knowledge of football, one of the biggest stars in UK Football, there aren’t many households where his name is not known. Steve Rowley, Arsenal Scout, he is very good at finding old and young talent, knows what he is looking for, and will bring a good presence to the judging board. David Beckham, perhaps the most famous English footballer in the World, David Beckham will be able to advice the players using his experience of the game, not to mention the amount of viewers he will bring to the show. Each year contestants each fight it out, going through several audition rounds, until they get to the final stages of the competition, and eventually the winner will get a £50Kp/w contract at a Premier Division Club. There is an unlimited amount of people that can ‘audition’ but audition applications must be posted by Monday 1st September. Each player will be a striker. Audition Application: Player Name: Category: 16-21’s/22-25’s/26 and over’s DOB: (Must fit into the category you chose) Where Your Player Auditioned: London/Glasgow/Dublin/Belfast/Cardiff Nation: Can be: English, Scottish, Welsh, Northern Irish or Irish CA: Has to be between 0 and 50 PA: Has to be between 0 and 60 (must be higher than your CA) Favoured Club: Can only be one Favoured Player: Can only be one You will be able to change your CA and PA as you progress through the auditions (if you do progress of course) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
