tdc5013
I've been scouting U20 competitions trying to find some decent youngsters to train up, while I was doing it I saw a 15 year old German GK who's stats were quite impressive. Unfortunately, as the title suggests, he's greyed out. I checked his personal, etc, and it says he's looking for a new club. Is there anyway I can get him onto my team? Tom14
No. The only greyed out players that you can offer contracts to are the ones already at your club
backpackant
The cheating way is that if you have that league loaded as playable, sign on as that manager and offer him a contract, making him a "real" player. You may then buy him. Further cheating would be to release him and have your "proper" manager sign him free.

So to the OP, the answer is no, there's nothing that can be done to get him signed.
