smithers08 Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 Would somebody do me a big favour and put my local team into the BSN , so i can play as them (not sure wether this is possible or not) , the team is already on FM08 , whoever is unplayable , the team is Consett . I dont want any extra money , or players , as if i load all players from England , then they already have 4-5 players who are not greyed out . Would it be possible to replace a team that was relegated from the BSN (season 07/08) with Consett , therefore i would be able to play as Consett in the cup competitions , just like they were actually on the database. r0x0r Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 http://www.community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=4648 Basicly open a text file. copy in this, replacing with real team names: "SWAP_TEAMS" "Consett" "BSN low team who won't be missed" now go save, change from text file to "all files. save as swapconsett.edt place in the program files - football manager - database - db folder i beleive. Management Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 The way i'd do it is to load the 8.0.2 DB into the Data editor click on competitions, search Blue square north Select applicable league (blue square north) Go down to teams and click click on whichever team you want to replace then click on "Swap Team" Search for Consett and select, VIOLA you're done Save database as "Consett" so you know why it was edited then load up FM start new game select consett DB and you should be fine Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
