Offside far too much.

What makes a player be offside so much? My Alberto Gilardino is offside at least 4 times per game, whereas other strikers such as Aguero and Ronaldo are offside far less. Strangely, Gilardino is known to be an off-the-shoulders striker, so he is rarely offside IRL. What's happening?

I don't know - but conversely Pippo Inzaghi is not offside anywhere near enough in the game.

Check to see if your strikers are very attacking and closing down a lot - I had both of these settings and found that my strikers were offside quite a lot. Also, Gilardino is quite slow isn't he? If you're playing against a fast, organised defence, particularly one playing a flat-back four, you can expect to see a few offsides.

Gilardino's pace is 14, not exactly slow.

I've had the same thing with Inzaghi too, but Inzaghi still gets the job done. Gilardino has not scored for me in 5 games straight.

Well, Gila's proved me wrong with a hattrick in the first half against Genoa. Strangely, all were tap ins.
