duck my sick Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 My game has been working fine since the day I got it, but now when I insert the disk and click the FM08 icon, the game proceeds to the main menu but then I get an error saying "Unable to find the Football Manager CD, please make sure it is in the drive!" ahmufcwafc Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 Yeah I had the same problem last week aswell. It's probably because the cd drive in your computer isn't working properly for some reason. First, put any other CD into your disk drive & see if it's recognised. If it isn't recognised, your drive obviously has a problem. The lens in your disk drive is probably dirty. You can get a lens cleaner in any good computer/music store. Try the lens cleaner. If this doesn't work, unfortunately you'll probably have to buy a new disk drive Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
