after managing the same club for about 5 years there can be a slight monotany that comes with it.

Would anyone fancy a feature where crowd violence got clubs from your country banned from europe for a season (and all the good players moving to a different country) or your star striker was outed as a homosexual and his stats dipped dramatically and he became worthless just to spice it up a bit?

think im getting to the point where im going to start waiting for '09 and cut down on this game till then

Incredibly offensive post there Robhug - as Midge says - an absolute disgrace.

Also reported.

you sir are a disgrace. Why would somones stats drop just because he is gay? Grow-up child.

Don't know why you bothered lads, you're just providing him with a reaction, which is exactly what he wanted. And people say it's the fanboys who make this forum unpleasant!

you have missed this one massivly, he wouldnt suddenly be gay, but he was outed and couldnt cope with the press he would undoubtably get

A la Justin Fashanu. I strongly suspect you do not know what your talking about.

It's phrases like 'he was outed' that make you so clueless, I'm afraid - your tone constantly makes it appear as if being gay is a 'bad thing'.

Yes, in real life, footballers go through a hard time if they are openly gay - but that's because of the attitudes of people like you and your neanderthal friends. There is no reason why a player should get added press attention for being gay, and if the game incorporated that, they'd be just as guilty as the horribly over-reacting press. Luckily the chaps at SI are actually decent human beings.
