Online Game troubles...

This evening I tried setting up a game to play with a friend online; I followed the exact instructions presented on the FMO forum, even going as far to switch off my firewall, and yet still it kept coming up with the message (for my friend ) "unable to connect with server". We had both got the exact same versions and exact same database along with all the other little adjustments required to sort out an online game yet still it wouldn't work.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble with this whilst following all the necessary instructions and whether there is something I have grossly overlooked.

I must stress again that I did fully comply with the instructions just so that you are all aware I am not a complete flid.

ps: The reason i posted this in here was because the FMO major thread had not been accessed for a while so I figured I would get a much greater and quicker respons here.

There is always someone in the FM Online forum to try and answer any problems and you should be posting in there no matter if there is or isn't someone to help you.
