How do you hire staff?

New to the game and one thing I can't figure out is how to hire staff. The only method I have been able to work out is to go to another team's staff page and click on a current staff member and make an offer. But this is very tedious as you have to go to each team. Is there a way to search staff members in one spot like you search for transfer listed players?

Also, is there a pool of staff that don't currently have jobs but are looking?

Manager > Find Players > Staff Search (something like that)

Then you can choose what attributes you want the staff to have.

There's also a job centre under the manager options bit (I think that's where it is).

You can post job adverts there and you'll get a list of applicants weekly.

Just click on your team: eg. Barcelona (to get to the team page)

Then go down the left hand side and and you see Search, from here there are Players, Staff, Shortlist.

Pick Staff, then just use the Customize option in your top right like you do with players to find the best coach/scout/ass man/physio.

It's pretty good for hiring scouts I find. Especially if you're a big club.

I seem to get applicants who are much better than those who come up interested when I search for staff. This is FM2007 though, so it may have changed.

It will do if you're club hasn't got a good reputation.

And also, the longer you let the advert run, the better the staff will get.
