Tried in games and not there and of course no shortcut. Any ideas where it can be???

canvey!!
Usually one is placed on the desktop, although on Vista one doesn't seem to be created in the All Programs menu. Try going to Start: Games, which opens the Games folder, it could be in there. If not, hold down the Windows key and press R. Then type in C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe - assuming you installed to the default directory.

canvey!!
Instead of going to the address I posted above via the run window, go to it through Windows Explorer and double click fm.exe (or it may just be called fm if you're hiding file extensions). On windows explorer is says that the folder is empty. There is nowhere to load it from at all.
