Ryan,,,
Can a club like Arundel, in the Sussex County First Division, ever reach the Conference South, or is it only Isthmian and Southern League Premier Division sides who can go up?
Danny!!
Unfortunately the only teams that can go up are the teams in the Northern, Southern and Isthmian Premier Leagues, directly bellow the Conference North/South. Which is a bit annoying when my club Sheffield FC are one league bellow this in the Northern PL Div 1 South. Oh well, we're second favourite to go up with Retford this year... Hopefully that happens. Then I can play them in FM 2010. In your case Arundel in the Sussex County First Div will require 8 promotions, so even if it was coded into the game, it would almost be impossible to get your team in the Conference N/S. Unless of course SI chose to add more leagues to the English System to make them playable. But they believe they have enough already, so the chances of that are slim.
