championship manager posters at celtic park sayin its the only game that uses prozone like the proffesionals use but what is it and is it needed :confused:

It's a computer system which tracks every players movement etc etc and provides a video and a plethora of stats on your players after each game. I'm sure someone else will be able to explain it better.

I think it's probably the only thing CM has going for it.

Not really it just helps you assess players better and it's not the full version that pros use, it's a lite version

It is a decent feature although IMO it can get boring and most people probably don't use it a lot. I would like to see more match analysis features along similar lines in FM though, IIRC CM has the exclusiver license for prozone but it could be easily ripped off and improved upon to be suitable for a game.

I believe ProZone is a brand and therefore signed up with CM rather than FM. If FM want it they'll have to pay for it.

I found using Prozone quite tedious when playing the CM demo. If you want to base your game around performance stats i think the the stats that FM gives you for each player is plenty enough.

While you're correct, there is nothing to stop FM using pretty much the same thing but having the analysis come from your AM. Would help people who struggle with tactics ALOT if done right.

I do think FM could do with a better way to analyse your own tactics.
