Hi started yet another everton save lol, anyway I've put in a 10m + clauses bid for van der vaart and had it accepted... however this is my whole budget, I just want to get the general concensus on whether or not I should sign him.

Always risky putting all your eggs in one basket, he could go and do his cruciate ligaments next match and that's £10M down the sh*tter. You might end up needing reinforcements in January but be pennyless. I think if a side like Everton are to finish in the top 4 i think you should have bought say 3 or 4 players for that money.
