Lutons 30 point deduction

If this is made official will it be possible to give them it in the game ? would be a good challange .

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this too. Leeds were pretty popular as a first game on 08 but tbh I think 30 points is a bridge too far for me. I hope they get the board confidence sorted so that it recognises the deduction as otherwise you'll be on a hiding to nothing (was it fixed on 8.0.2?).

To answer your question I think the deductions are hard coded but since opening the editor tends to freeze my PC I won't be checking. If it's not hard coded it should be in there somewhere as an option.

If it happens in real life before the release of FM09 it will happen in the game, but as it is hardcoded you wouldn't be able to add it yourself.

Leeds had it last season, so I would've thought that the same for this season.

forget luton, i think afc bournemouth will be better, they are yet to be deducted 15 points

I don't think Luton will be top of everyones game for a challenge,they will do well to stay in the league

Do you mean give it to them in FM08? If so, the answer is no.

If you mean in FM09, if they get the deduction, Fm09 will reflect that.

Will be an impossible challenge. Not impossible but they would need a minor miracle to stay up IMO.
