Harper Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 I just had a player gain homegrown status even though he was only in England for 2.5 years before his 21st birthday. He turned 18 in December 2014 and transferred to me without a work permit on January 1, 2015. I loaned him to Belgium for the remained of the season. When he came back (6/30/2015), I signed him to a new deal and he got his work permit. Roughly 2.5 years later, on his 21st birthday in December 2017, he gained Club HG status.
