Utilising the newgen dates

How can you actually get the most out of the knowledge of the day the newgens are created.

So let's say today is the day that the Brazil newgens get created, how to make the most out of that?

Go into their club's U-18 and scout everyone?

The old fashioned was is to view an U18 team, sort by price low-high and check every player who isn't valued. Sometimes they do get values on the first day which is quite odd - in which case look at the form etc. as spawned newgens will not have played any games. Check each of them systematically and scroll through the list of teams. This system works, but is time consuming.

The cheating way is to use an outside tool like genie scout. With this tool you can see the hidden potential ability stat, which usually tells you how talented a player is. But bear in mind the hidden PA stat isn't the be all and end all of how good a player is. The best newgen in my team (Stats pretty much all 14-19) only has a PA of 151. Sometimes it's better to scout manually to find players with good stats, and then use a tool to check see if you missed any great talents that have decieving stats to begin with.

What you don't want to do is use your transfer centre, unless you have 100% knowledge of the area. Even then it can be daunting. Looking at individual teams breaks up the search somewhat.

World > Transfers > Youth Intake

View them all individually. To cut down the workload, concentrate on the clubs with higher reputations in that country (Nation > View nation > Clubs)
