does mutual terminating all of your staff on day one put people off joining you?

playing as everton. played a game where i brought in a lot of my own staff, as i normally do with earlier versions of FM. over the first month i pretty much replaced everyone, and got a lot of great staff including most of man utd's backroom.

starting a new game as ive made a few mistakes, i figured easier to get rid of everyone in one go. so first of all, selected everyone and terminated contract. went to sign replacements and no one decent would enter contract negotiations.

started again and mutually terminated everyone. same answer.

is this just coincidence or is the game trying to be realistic by having staff less likely to join someone sack happy?

I sack everyone but keep my assistant manager, tick the box unrealistic targets or whatever is called. Sign who i want and problem solved. Once my backroom staff is keen i look for a new assistant manager using my old assistant manager to filter. Find someone im happy with offer a contract then sack my assistant.
