Opposition red cards

Does anyone else seems to have issues whenever the opposition gets a player sent off? I am playing in the A League, a tight standard of league(Only one real whipping post team). I am 3rd on the ladder playing second. 10 minutes in, I score. 2 minutes later they reply, okay we got a game on our hands. 5 minutes after they equalize they have a player shown a straight red. I think I am in with a chance. I have not altered my tactics at all. They then preceed to PUNISH my defence with 5 more goals, just in the first half! I dont think I have ever beaten someone after they have had a player sent off. It has gotten to the point where I hope one of my players get sent off if I am losing so I can have a better chance of snatching the draw! WHAT THE HELL? Does anyone else experience this? is it a known issue of the ME trying to "even it out"? can anybody find a real life example where something even close to this has happened?
