Jops14
We see plenty of threads about the missing stars of old fms, with all the Nii Lampteys, Todorovs, Sambas and so on. But i wondered if anyone could think of players who used to become incredible on fm at a time that they were completely unknown, and have gone on to fulfill their FM potential! Aguero is one i remember from CM 03/04 a 15 years old (just before atletico bought him) and he became incredible, it also looks like fm may have nailed Verratti (perhaps a bit early) as he just joined PSV i also remember david villa having great attributes long before he hit big. I cant think of too many names off the top of my head but on many fm's you can go back to the starts of today who are around 16-20 and they are often potential superstars there, FM gets it wrong sometimes, but i just wondered if anyone had good examples of when they got it right! nine_iron
Jack Butland, he was pretty amazing for me in my Grimsby save a year or two back. Got him on loan for a few seasons and he kept more clean sheets than I lose golf balls!

JackInDerBox
Robben, Kaka, Chiellini, Ronaldo, Messi, Ribery, Kroos, Fabregas, Villa, Alexis Sanchez, Pique, Tevez are just a few off the top of my head who when originally entered in the game at a young age had potential similar to how they turned out! Haxixe
There are two cases that are paradigmatic: - Robben, who only 18 years had a PA of 190 at PSV; - Zlatan that was a world-class striker in potential when he played in modest.
