huntercross14
I manage both club and country(France), there is one good potential wonderkid in my club whose main nationality is Portuguese and his other nationality is french. I really want him to play for france but does Portuguese get more priority than france to choose him? how does this work?. right now i dont want to choose him for france squad as he is still young but i want to choose him in the future, what can i do? milnerpoint
Its likely he will hold out for a French cap as France will have a higher rep, if by about 23/24 he hasnt got a cap he will prob choose to play for Portugal.
ivandrago
If a player does only one game for a national team, he will never be able to play for another nation Put him to play in one match on second half, or take the risk of him being selected for Portugal. It's your choice I only do it with youngster if I really believe he will be important to me in the future
milnerpoint
Not exactly true, it must be a competitive game, a player can play a friendly game for one nation then switch to another if he wants.
