eplkewell
I'm playing as Napoli right now. I just finished my third season. I had Mario Balotelli on loan as a backup for Edinson Cavani all season. He played well when he was in the side, so I wanted to exercise my option to buy him. Even though City would accept my offers for him, he would refuse to negotiate with me. However, at the end of his loan spell when he returned to Man City he indicated that he "enjoyed his loan spell at Napoli" and "would be interested in a permanent move to Napoli is one becomes available." If he was interested in a permanent move, why did he refuse to discuss a contract with me the 5 times I offered him one?

eplkewell
Because its balotelli... OK, fair enough. I'm pretty I've seen this with other players too, though.
ivandrago
Yeah, it happens with other players Maybe because players liking teams on loan are only triggered after they leave the club, unfortunately
