Nico
So here's my scenario: Playing as West Ham, in my 3rd season (after promotion and a respectable 10th place). Liverpool have offered my Andy Carroll for a bargain £6m. The trouble is that his wage demands are out of my league (refusing to go below £85'000). Now I've had in used on me in various games, even in this current West Ham game I'm still paying Kevin Nolan a fair chuck of cash each week depsite shipping him off to Derby. Is there a way to ask agents if the current team are willing to pay a percentage of the players wages or does this option only exist for AI teams? Widzew
Ive always wondered this aswell! The AI does this to me ALLL the time but can we do it back???
SCIAG
It isn't an agreement between the two clubs, it is an agreement between the selling club and the player. So you can't ask for it, just give the player the best offer you can and he might ask his club to make up the shortfall. AI clubs can have to pay a %, yes. Nico
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks. Although this cant be a common occurance. I've racked up a fair few hours and cant recall ever signing a player who has then asked the selling club to pay a part of the wages.
