This is in the general happiness of a player in my team. "Willing to leave the club to help clear some ot the club's dept"

I believe he has potential and i would like him to be in the team with complete faith. What should i do in this situation?

Offer a new contract, sell someone else, clear out the youth team, try and shave money off elsewhere if you really want to keep him.

Maybe have a private conversation, see what the options are.

I had a private conversation and he accepted to reduce his wage demands.

He already signed,in the next days,a new contract and now his general happiness is:"Pleased to have signed a new contract"

and his Head Coach Promises is:"Has promised to reduce his wage demands next time a new deal is discussed".

Am i missing something here? is it a bug?

I think that maybe if he's signed a new contract, he'll probably be fine.

It is like this:

I think promises generally stay there for a certain time, whether they've already been resolved or not. It's like when you promise someone first team football, then play them for the next 5 games and your assistant decides to remind you of your promise as if you've forgotten.

Change his name to Tal Ben Haim, he'll never leave then...
