Is there a way to make a national team active after you start the game.

I started a game with a large database and i am 9 seasons in. I just assumed that i would then be able to manage any national team i wanted but it wont let me manage San Marino despite having 40+ players of that nationallity at my club.

Is there a way to manage them in my save or was the only way to make them active to ensure i loaded all players from that nation on start up?

There is a minimum number of active players a nation needs before it can become manageable.

Appreciate the reply. So in theory they can become active. Does anyone know the minimum number of players needed?

I once heard that it is 250.

As far as I know it is at least 150, but I have seen on the forum as low as 30. 30 is far too low though, as you wouldn't have enough to fill the senior and under 21 squads with only 30 players.
