Steam Problem

Hi guys,

i need help on this. i'm having this problem where i can't play FM2012.im not sure whether it is the modem or the internet line not stable.This happened when my house internet start lagging but after the internet line back to normal and i couldn't play FM2012 anymore.i tried to reinstall the game but it mange to install half way and prop out message "Steam needs to be online to update.Please confirm your network connection and try again".
