Suggestion

I like it. If you were feeling particularly spiteful, you could give them a parting shot or two on the way out. "I doubt they'll have much success after I leave!" or "I won't miss managing Player X...what a basket case!"

it should be like a chat with board-room, where we pick the reason for it:

  • The club accepted a bid for (x) player on behalf of me.
  • Lack of transfer funds.
  • Rejection to invest money on top target (x) from (y)
  • Lack of support by board, as they aren't defending me when romours grows about my future
  • Lack of support by board following FA fines.
  • Lack of support by fans.
  • Wants to move to bigger club
  • Wants new challenge else where.

and board initially reject it and ask for reconsideration ( if the manager doing good or in good relationship with Chairman ) , you can withraw your resignation or confirm that your mind is up.
