Montpellier_26
3 games and you get a suspension, the amount of players i have banned is annoying; but its a challenge and makes the Ligue 1 more enjoyable ! But i guess it means it evens out the whole season, and weaker clubs can challenge for title i guess
thompe
Wow, that is a complete joke, I agree. You play three games and you get a suspension? dafuq?

Montpellier_26
In the Premier League once you got past 5 you dont get another suspension i.e if you get 10 you wont get another .. But in ligue 1 it goes back down to 0 ..... i had 8 players suspended at one point ... +
BenArsenal
In the Premier League once you got past 5 you dont get another suspension i.e if you get 10 you wont get another .. I think it's more like, 5 bookings, 1 match suspension, 10 bookings, 2 match suspension and etc. Still, the French one seems unfair, as a player misses three games for 9 yellow cards, whereas in England he misses 2 games for 10 yellows. Nocuous
What's unfair about it? You just have to adapt. Play a style of football where you won't be picking up too many bookings, and have a big squad to deal with suspensions as you get them.
sjm
It's hardly "unfair" if it's the same rule for all teams in the league.
Montpellier_26
I dont mind it at all, i dont say 'unfair' its just annoying finding that you have over agressive players who constantly get suspended. But as i said, it makes the league more 'random' and i have had to adapt
BenArsenal
OK, maybe unfair's the wrong word to use.
achilles-the-victorious
Suspension? Try dealing with 5 players out with broken ankles, broken feet, broken legs, knee tendonitis and torn hamstrings! And they are your starting 4 or 5 attackers! I have tremendous squad depth, but dealing with that was a pain in the ass, even though I had promising youth who stepped in and the team never missed a beat. It was $100m worth of talent in the goddamn physio room!
