Katarian
I got caught out by that as well. The Rule is the player must be under 20 and of been at the club for at least 2 years.

Ryknow
I hate this rule, as doesn't it apply if the player was out on loan? As he technically wasn't at the club?

If you have bought in a youngster and send them out on loan you potentially miss out on Trained at Club, which in the long term is far more annoying then this rule. This rule is far easier to get around and plan for if you actually read the squad registration rules rather then just assume they are the same as the ones you are familiar with in the English Premier League as I did :o. It is annoying that the game won't let you play someone who has come through your own youth academy until two years after they appear as youth candidates.
