On my save Daniel Sturridge was allowed to run his contract down at Chelsea, he then left the club refusing to even speak with me (Liverpool) about an offer, he has been to both Reading & Newcastle on trial...and reject contract offers from both. So now he is sat idling away doing nothing in the 2013-14 season. I'll have a look in the bugs forum for this issue, but has anyone else experienced a situation like this? Didn't follow all the details, but he was released at the end of 2011/12 with lots of interest from elite clubs. Not sure if he was ever offered contracts, but he ended up retiring a year later.
