zamoracomehome Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Hello all, I've been trawling through forums and I can't work out how to fix this... I have a Mac and trying to play FM - but when I do it, Steam won't open it up properly. Flashes 'preparing to launch' - disappears, and nothing happens. I've read that Steam's update messed things up - but most people seem to say this has been sorted? I've tried the option of uninstalling and installing Steam again with no success. Ipswich Staying Up Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Try deleting the cache from the library... depending on what OS version you're running this may be hidden. With finder open, click the go menu at the top of the screen and if library is visible navigate to the caches folder and delete the Sports interactive folder. if Library isn't visible, hold down the alt key when you click on the go menu. OxfordUnitedFC Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 I had a problem on a mac with an older version where the FM icon flashed a few times when i tried to open it but then just disappeared and nothing happened.
