FootballRook
I'm trying to get a team promoted from the lowest league to the premier league, does it matter if I start with the south or north? If you get relegated from the North, do you get relegated to Blue Square South or something lower?
Niebiescy
They are both the same level. The divisions are just divided regionally to decrease travel costs and distances.

Frankchickens1
This is kind of more of a football question than an FM question, so sorry, but If the 4 teams relegated from the BSP are all Northern, what happens? Do the southern-most teams from BSN move to BSS, so a team could play in BSN one year and BSS the next?

Technically it should be the Southern most but if you look at the leagues over the years thats not always the case in real life.
Mike7077
There is a rule that states that teams can't be shunted between North and South more than once in... I think it's three seasons. What this means is you sometimes have to move a less geographically appropriate team between the two leagues because a more appropriate team has already recently been moved. Also, if you look at the split, the dividing line between North and South has been shifting ever lower. This because there are three leagues that promote to the North and South, two of which are more southern, so you get a glut of southern teams, which drags the line lower.
