Problem with agent messages

Every week in game, I seem to get 100 or so messages from agents telling me that one of their players has been offered a new contract with his club. Because of this I have had to turn all agent messages off but I am still receiving these messages.

I may have missed something obvious but If anyone could tell me how to stop it, it would be greatly appreciated.

i kept getting told a 17 year old spanish player was being offered a new contract, every 3 days. the player kept refusing. take the player off your shortlist - that should do it. i've never had 100 of these messages each week though.

That's the weird thing though none of these players are on my shortlists. During the season I only got a couple a week but now im in the transfer some days I get a hundred+

you must have shown some interest in these players, no? is it possible to have the yellow star against the player but not on your shortlist?
